Meet Isabel
With over 20 years of experience in storytelling for non-profit, corporate, and government organizations, I am a seasoned communications expert committed to amplifying the missions of my clients. I hold a Bachelor’s in Journalism and an Honors degree in Applied Language Studies from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, along with various professional certifications.
I have built a diverse career that spans from journalism in the agricultural sector to copywriting and project management in the corporate world.
Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, I dreamt of one day starting my own business. The connections I built since moving to Canada in 2018, gave me the confidence to take this leap in February 2022.
My journey led to the founding of Dot the I in 2022, where I provide content creation and strategic marketing services for organizations like Trent University, Ontario Tech University, Balanced Good, the Canadian Canoe Museum, and Ve’ahavta.
I am passionate about leveraging my skills in communication, fundraising, and strategy to help non-profits share their impact stories and grow their fundraising campaigns.
